 Extra! Extra! New Erasure Album In October!
Breaking news! New Erasure album, which is the second part of their hits compilations serie will be released in October.

"...also we have an Erasure Pop Hits 2 coming out in October. So I’m doing a remix of a song of ours called “Freedom."
"...as I said, the Pop Hits 2 album is coming out so hopefully we’ll do some of the later material. There was talk of doing an Erasure tour… maybe not next year but the year after… where we do all the songs, but it would be a long show. Like forty songs."
Brand New Andy Bell Interview
 There is a brand new interview with Andy Bell published at Gaywired.com. Andy told about his work on second solo album:
"At the moment I’m about a third of the way through doing some new songs for a solo record, which will hopefully be finished by the end of the year and then come out some time next year. It’s kind of in a similar vein to Electric Blue…but a bit more unusual."
"At the moment, it [the record] sounds a bit too much like Erasure so we’re going to try and make it more left-field sounding. So I’m hoping to get my hands on the instrumentation and stuff like that.
I‘m working with a guy called Stephen Hague who produced The Innocents album for us way back in ’89 so hopefully I’ll be working a bit more on the music. And I’d quite like to do some songwriting maybe in New York with some other people and just see what happens really".
Andy also discussed his performances on "True Colors" tour 2008, his DJing and other things.
