Stephen Hague is an American music producer most active with various British acts in the 1980s. He was an influential figure in the synthpop movement. He worked with Pet Shop Boys, New Order, Erasure, A-Ha, Client, Melanie C and produced such hits as "West End Girls" (Pet Shop Boys) and "A Little Respect" (Erasure). He also produced one of the most successful Erasure albums, "The Innocents".

Andy Bell Remixed Yazoo

Andy Bell also has contributed a remix of "Nobody's Diary", the classic Yazoo hit, to an upcoming compilation of dance mixes celebrating that band's reunion this summer.

Message From Alison Moyet

Yet again Alison Moyet has posted a message on her forum. She stated that there are no plans for a duet between Andy Bell and her.

"Andy is a big star who has had a hugely long and successful career. He doesn't need a spot on a Yazoo show. It would be a huge assumption to imagine he would want one. Andy wanted a break from Erasure. I know how it is when you are a versatile singer with a broad taste... it becomes important to try your voice at other things for a while. I know this personally."

Larry Tee Album

It seems that Larry Tee, aka Mr. Electroclash, will finally release his album called "Rock N Rave" this spring. The album will probably include his collaboration with Andy Bell, song "Matthew".

Erasure Forum "Companion Newsletter"

So what is this exactly? Well think of it as the colour supplement to this newsletter, with irregular bits of news and features and superior presentation of content, such formatted text, embedded images and Flash movies. (Although a HTML formatted newsletter is launching soon).

Time Running Out: BFI World Premiere Screening

Time is running out if you wish to be in the audience with Andy Bell on Friday 4th April for the world premiere screening of Erasure's Royal Albert Hall Concert at the the 22nd BFI London L&G Film Festival. Also showing is the documentary "Behind the Scenes with V&A", a peek behind the scenes of the London concert.

Tickets for the showing (at NFT1, BFI Southbank) cost £8.60 (concession rate for BFI members £5.25).

Yazoo Los Angeles Extra Date

A 3rd Los Angeles live date (at Orpheum Theatre) has been added to the Yazoo "Reconnected" tour, on the 8th July. Tickets will go on sale on 26th March at 10am.

Yazoo Albums Will Be Available Separately?

Amazon.co.uk have both Yazoo albums, "Upstairs At Eric's" and "You And Me Both" available for preorder with a UK release date 5th May 2008. It seems that remastered one disc editions of the albums will be available separately from "In Your Room" box set.

YAZ U.S. Live Dates

Vince Clarke & Alison Moyet have announced that they will reunite for the first time in over 25 years for The Reconnected Tour, a brief U.S trek in July starting at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA on July 7 and culminating in two headline shows at New York City's Terminal 5 on July 16 and 17th.

Tickets are on-sale in Chicago on Friday, March 7; NY and Los Angeles beginning Saturday, March 8; and Oakland on Sunday, March 9. Tickets will be available through ticketmaster.com.

The tour is preceded by In Your Room a 4-disc box set which includes remasters and 5.1 mixes of both Yaz classic albums Upstairs At Eric's and You And Me Both, b-sides and remixes plus a DVD featuring a new short film containing exclusive new interviews with Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet and the promo videos for "Don't Go", "The Other Side Of Love", "Nobody's Diary", "Situation (1990)" and "Only You (1999)".

Andy Bell - Special Guest DJ At Ruggercub

After winning the European Championship last year in Copenhagen and securing the right to host the contest in 2009, what next for London's leading gay rugby team?

Ruggercub is the answer. From next Sunday the Kings Cross Steelers will be hosting their new club night at the Two Brewers in Clapham.

The monthly event is aimed at "rugby boys and their followers."

The launch party on 9th March 2008 features special guest DJ Andy Bell of Erasure fame.

Yaz To Tour US, Limited Edition Vinyl 12" Release

Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet have announced that they will reunite for the first time in over 25 years as Yaz for Reconnected, a brief US tour in July.

The duo will also tour the UK and Europe, but as Yazoo, the name the band goes by overseas.

The run includes stops in Denmark, Germany, Ireland, half a dozen cities in the UK and the Sonar festival in Spain.

The US trek kicks off July 7 at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, California, and includes stops at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles (July 10-11), the Chicago Theatre in Chicago (July 14) and New York City's Terminal 5 (July 16-17).

Tickets go on sale in Chicago on March 7, in New York City and Los Angeles beginning March 8 and in Oakland on March 9 at Ticketmaster.com.
